You can help in three ways:

Donation: The Children and Youth Ministry will be packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes this year! Each shoebox costs approximately $10 to fill plus a $10 shipping fee, for a total of about $20 per box. If you would like to help, donations can be made through the church office. Please be sure to mark your gift "Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes (OCC).”

Pack a Box Online: Use the SMC Operation Christmas Shoebox link below to fill a shoebox directly through Somerville Methodist Church's Operation Christmas Child page! When you use our church's QR code, your online shoebox is counted toward our church goal, helping us track how many boxes Somerville Methodist Church is sending to children around the world.

Pack a Shoebox Yourself: Start with a standard-size shoebox (cardboard or plastic) and choose whether you would like to pack it for a boy or a girl. Pick up a shoebox label from the OCC display located in the sanctuary and attach it to the top of the shoebox. Include a special "WOW" item, such as a doll, soccer ball, stuffed animal, or other item a child will love. Then fill the box with smaller gifts like toys, school supplies, personal care items, and fun accessories. Do not pack soap, liquids, food, or candy. Remember to include a $10 donation (cash or check) inside your box to help cover shipping cost. Return your completed shoebox to the church by November 15.
